The new, more streamlined login experience for all apps and services continues to roll out throughout 2023. Students can expect to start seeing changes beginning July 13, 2023.  

What to know: 

  • Beginning July 13, at 6 a.m. ET, the login process for the Student Hub, Microsoft Office 365 applications, Adobe, OneDrive, PowerAutomate, and others will transition to the new login experience
  • The first log in after these changes may require extra steps. These extra steps are temporary. Variations in the login process may include additional windows prompting to input credentials more than once, additional Microsoft Authenticator steps (if installed), and added trusted browser verifications.  
  • You may also notice the Duo prompt looks different.  
  • Some sites and services will continue to use the current single sign-on (SSO) experience until 1Login is fully rolled out to all sites and services later this year.  

What to do: 

  • Look for alerts in the Student Hub and watch your email inbox for timely instructions. 
  • Please plan extra time for the morning of this rollout to log in as necessary, especially if you have a class, meeting, or presentation scheduled.  
    • You may need to log in several times and reconnect to your file storage and applications more than once.  
    • While the experience may look different, you should expect to log in with your Northeastern credentials and use the services as you normally would.
