Code42 CrashPlan, a service that provides convenient and secure file backup on the cloud, is among the first university applications to begin the transition to the university’s more streamlined login experience. A recent update to CrashPlan prepares the service for the final switch to the new login later this spring.
As a result, CrashPlan subscribers may notice a small change when logging into their account.

CrashPlan subscribers will see the initial first screen where they type in their Northeastern username (pictured above), per usual. However, some subscribers may see an additional prompt to sign in one more time (pictured below). If this prompt appears, using Northeastern credentials provides access to the service as usual.

This added login screen won’t be visible to everybody, and it’s temporary. Once the app has fully moved to the 1login experience, signing in will become more seamless.
The 1Login website will share the progress of the transition to a more streamlined and secure login experience for the Northeastern community. Continue to check in regularly for the latest updates on the sites and services you use for learning, teaching, work, and other day-to-day university activities.
